The Dread X Collection 2 follows in the footsteps of the first Dread X Collection. This time we’ve gathered 12 incredible indie devs and given them just 10 days to realize all new visions of terror. The inspiration this time around was LOVECRAFTING. Does that mean all Lovecraft monsters? Does that mean a crafting game? Does it mean crafting love in a romantic visual novel? You’ll just have to play to find out.

After completing all 12 titles, you’ll get access to a secret basement in the mansion that hides one final trick up its sleeve. This way of unlocking everything is leaps and bounds better than the simple menu approach taken with Dread X 1 and is truly one of the more enjoyable playable parts of the collection.
7.5/10 – Rely On Horror

I have to say, I never expected to get another Dread X entry. The original felt like lightning in a bottle, something that we’d talk about years from now as that cool one-off thing. But now it’s a series and I couldn’t be happier. For the unfamiliar, the Dread X experience is essentially a playable game jam where creators of horror games get a time limit and a prompt. – Pixel Die
