Trailer: BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT Locks June Release Date and Shows Off Majorly Updated Graphics
A release date trailer for Koji Igarashi’s upcoming spiritual Castlevania successor Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been released and it not only reveals the game’s release date – June 18 – but also shows that the creators listened to community feedback regarding the art style and they’ve done some major updating.
“A paranormal force has summoned a demon-infested castle threatening the entire world. Play as Miriam, an orphan scarred by an alchemist’s curse which slowly crystallizes her body. To save humanity, and herself in the process, Miriam must fight through the castle and defeat the summoner, Gebel.“
I got the chance to play the game at last year’s E3 and this is pure Igavania with a lot of heart, abilities, and exciting action. Those who are mourning Konami’s mistreatment of their properties, including the Castlevania franchise, can take solace knowing that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will fill that void perfectly.
