Wrath: Aeon of Ruin Gets Final Early Access Update Before Full Release
With the desire to unleash wrath on people growing, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin will be launching soon. Until then, it did get one more major Early Access update.
What can you look forward to in this new update? Well the biggest feature is that it finishes up the first hub world. There’s a new level called The Hollow, and finishing it will serve as the conclusion for this hub world. Look around a bit, and you’ll even find a cool new artifact that summons a shield for you, one that even blocks enemy attacks. Just be careful, a new enemy is waiting for you as well. The Lurker is hidden in the waters, and if you get too close it’ll be sure to grab you.
If you haven’t played the game yet, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin is a throwback FPS made with the original Quake engine. The game launched in Early Access near the end of 2019, and has been getting occasional content drops through 2020. The full release will include more worlds, weapons, enemies, boss fights, and even multiplayer in case you have the need to shoot a friend or two. All of this should make for a fun experience for anyone looking for that throwback shooter.
If you want to try Wrath: Aeon of Ruin while it’s still in Early Access, you can grab the game here. Otherwise, the game will be launching in full for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime in the summer.
