Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife Is The First VR Game In The World Of Darkness Series

An upcoming game adds a new series to the World of Darkness canon. For those unfamiliar, the World of Darkness is the three creative (but still distinct) RPG universes created by White Wolf Publishing, best known for the Vampire: The Masquerade series. This latest game, Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife is part of the Wraith: The Oblivion tabletop roleplaying universe. 

Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife has you playing the role of someone who has just died. Now living (?) as a wraith, you must search through the Barclay Mansion in order to find out what mysteries led to your undeath. This game will be in VR, and creative director Erik Odeldahl stated that games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Alien: Isolation were big inspirations for the “narrative-driven, exploration-focused horror.”
