Total War: Warhammer III Will be Bringing Chaos to the Realm of Chaos
Today Creative Assembly has announced Total War: Warhammer III, the latest entry into the grand scale RTS series.
The third entry into the series, Total War: Warhammer III will continue the series love of combining the popular Warhammer tabletop games with the Total War series of grand-scale RTS. While the trailer doesn’t show any gameplay, it does show a group of soldiers preparing to go to war against demons. We get a very cool and up-close look at several demons, all of which are currently haunting a woman. Thankfully, she has a very icy sword and also a giant army to smash them.
If you haven’t played any of the Total War: Warhammer games, the games all generally play the same. You’ll raise up giant armies while playing politics and working on your economy. For a while this plays quite a bit like a 4x game, but before long you’ll be doing some combat. For this the game zooms in to a very large-scale RTS. This often means armies of 1000’s of troops on both sides clashing in massive combat.
