THQ Announces Upcoming Sequel To Sci-fi Fantasy Adventure Game ELEX

THQ Nordic today revealed their upcoming game ELEX II today. Created by Piranha Bytes, the studio behind Gothic and Risen, ELEX II is the sequel to their 2017 game of the same name. This series blends the sci-fi and fantasy genres while keeping with the third-person action-adventure style of Piranha’s other titles.

ELEX II takes place after the events of ELEX I. “A new threat arrives from the sky, unleashing the dangerous powers of dark Elex and endangering all life on the planet.” You play as Jax, the protagonist of the last game, who must once again rise to fight for the world of Magalan. Using the power of a strange meteorite that granted the people access to magical abilities, as well guns, Jax has to unite the factions in order to save Magalan.
