The Invincible Is An Atompunk Horror Game Based On A Sci-Fi Classic
Steward industries revealed today their latest upcoming title, though actually, this title was revealed back in the 60’s. The Invincible is based on a book of the same name by renowned Polish sci-fi author Stanislaw Lem. It’s a retro futuristic first person exploration game of the same premise, but to what extent they are the same is currently unknown.
According to the press release, the stories are divergent from the start. The Invincible has you playing a scientist, stranded on the desert planet of Regis III. Whereas the book begins with a whole crew of scientists, in this game, you find yourself alone. “You have to find the missing crew members using some advanced space equipment, whilst relying on your brains and instincts to survive on the planet which quickly occurs to be unwelcoming,” the Steam page reads. “Soon you’ll discover that Regis III holds terrifying secrets.”
