The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Steelbook Gives a Glimpse Into the Series’ Future
With The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope set to come out soon, some people may be wondering if they can get some rad goodies with their game. Good news: they can. However, these goodies are more than goodies, they’re a peak into the future of the franchise.
The special bundle, which will cost $59.99, will nab you a copy of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, a ragdoll that is featured heavily in the game, and, most interesting of the bundle, a steelbook. This steelbook case will have four empty slots, with the intention being that you can carry each game in the anthology in one place. Since Little Hope will be the second game in the series launching, after 2019’s Man of Medan, this seems to signify that at least two more games are planned for The Dark Pictures Anthology.
To go with this, if you want an idea of what playing Little Hope may be like, a new trailer allows you to actually make some choices. You can follow one of two characters, and make a few small decisions that let you either survive or die in a small event. It’s nothing revolutionary, but it’s a neat little event that lets you kill someone before the game even starts, if that’s the playthrough you’re looking for.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is launching on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 29th, 2020. You can toss the game on your wishlist here.
