Speak Directly With The Dead In New World Of Darkness Game The Orpheus Device

With so many exciting titles from the World of Darkness universe—Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Wraith: The Oblivion, and of course, Vampire: The Masquerade—it comes as a bit of a surprise that one more would come on an entirely different platform. The Orpheus Device is aWoD title that utilizes smart speakers. Through Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant, or iOS Earplay App, you can play an audio-based game where you commune with a family of spirits.

The Orpheus Device follows the story of a family called the Martens. As the press release reads:

The Martens are a tragic case. A suffering family, bound together by bitterness, resentment, and spite. Their restless spirits lurk in the house they inhabited years ago, when they were alive. They don’t communicate well with each other, but you can speak with them using stolen credentials to access a machine called The Orpheus Device. You can explore their secrets, learn how they died, and examine what forces still hold them.
