Silent Hill Crossover Coming to Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals
Today Glowstick Entertainment announced that they’re working with Konami to bring Silent Hill DLC to Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals.
There isn’t actually too much news on the DLC yet, and what it will contain, but since Dark Deceptions is a multiplayer horror game with both humans and monsters, it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch that we’ll get Pyramid Head. The trailer does feature some scenes from Silent Hill 2 and 3 though, so that’s likely where it’s going. This isn’t the game’s first crossover, in December it had one with Monstrum, adding a pair of monsters, a mortal, and a map from that game.
If you haven’t played Dark Deceptions before, it’s a multiplayer horror game where you play as either humans or monsters. While the game does have a “monster tries to kill humans while humans try to escape” mode, it also has several other game modes. One has all four players play as monsters while trying to collect shards and kill each other for more shards, while another has all four players play as humans while turning the ones who don’t collect enough shards into monsters. These unique modes give the game a little extra something.
While there’s still no word on when the Silent Hill DLC will drop, other than sometime next month, you can play Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals right now.
