Paranormal Point-And-Click Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story Released
Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story has finally arrived. Sitting at the #2 spot of the “new and trending” category on Steam, at least at the time of writing, Sense seems to be off to a great start. Created by indie studio Skukaku, previously known for the Ghost in the Shell-style VR Synergia, Sense was started as a Kickstarter project that made over 600% of the initial goal. Looks like it may have paid off.
Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story is a sort of point-and-click adventure inspired by classics, such as Clock Tower and Fatal Frame. But unlike most cyberpunk settings, this one seamlessly integrates the past with the future. In Sense, you play as Mei-Lin Mak, a young woman who finds herself in the middle of a paranormal crisis. Ghosts from Chinese folklore begin to appear, and Mei-Lin is forced to investigate the souls whe have been left behind.
Or are they? Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story throws another element into the game with Mei-Lin’s cybernetic eyes. As a cyber hacker lady, the eyes may have been pretty useful. But now, as reality drifts away, Mei-Lin is unsure if there really are ghosties or if she’s just seeing a glitch in the matrix.
