Resident Evil Village Actress Jeanette Maus Passes Away
In what’s rather sad news, Capcom has announced that Jeanette Maus, one of the actresses in the upcoming Resident Evil Village, has passed away.
Jeanette Maus, who had been battling colon cancer, passed away at the age of 39. She was providing the voice for one of the daughters, a group of vampire-like women that stalk and hunt the main character Ethan Winters throughout the game. While it isn’t said which one she’s playing exactly, or if she was just voicing a general group of them, it’s still heartbreaking that Jeanette passed away.
Outside of her work on Resident Evil Village, Jeanette has been in a few movies including 2020’s Charm City Kings, 2017’s Dismissed, and 2011’s Your Sister’s Sister. She also co-wrote and starred in the 2008 comedy My Effortless Brilliance, and also has a role in the upcoming movie My Fiona. Outside of acting, Jeanette also taught a drama class at John Rosenfelt Studios.
We offer out sympathy to the friends and family of Jeanette Maus.
