Remnant: From The Ashes – Subject 2923 Is The Biggest And Final DLC For The Game Yet
Souls-fans rejoice! Gunfire Games’ Souls-like title, Remnant: From the Ashes, will be receiving its final DLC in about two months. This most recent DLC will be called Remnant: From the Ashes – Subject 2923, with the longest DLC campaign yet. This DLC promises to offer some answers to the mystery of what happened in this universe, exploring the origin story of “The Dreamers,” and their connection to the Root.
For those unfamiliar, Remnant: From the Ashes is typically thought of as Dark Souls but with guns. But in reality, it’s a whole lot more. In Remnant you play as a survivor in a post apocalyptic earth, where an ancient evil has thrown everything into chaos. Using the technology to open portals to other dimensions, humanity is finally ready to fight back against the monstrous hordes. For a more thorough look at the base game, you can read our Remnant: From the Ashes review here.
Remnant: From the Ashes – Subject 2923 appears to take place in two main zones. The first is a rural arctic tundra, home to enormous ratmen villagers and their domesticated beasts. The second is an underground military base, with Root-based creatures that look like Lovecraftian horrors.
Remnant: From the Ashes – Subject 2923 will be releasing on August 20th, 2020. It will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more information, you can check out their website by clicking here.
