Rambo is the Next Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Character, Because Of Course He is
At this point I don’t even know what goes into picking Mortal Kombat 11 characters other than trying to find the most amazing match ups. So we have another amazing match up. The Kombat Pass 2 has been announced, adding three more characters to the game, and one of them is none other than Rambo.
Yes, Rambo, the character made famous by the 1982 classic First Blood, a movie about a soldier with PTSD who is harassed by police officers until he contemplates suicide and is forced to stand down by his former commander, eventually choosing a life in jail which he likes because it reminds him of being a soldier. Then it got four sequels where he wages a one-man war. In a particularly interesting note, Sylvester Stallone himself will be voicing the character. This is his first time appearing in a video game since the 1995 3DO version of Demolition Man.
There are two other characters being announced as well. Rain is a ninja with water-based abilities and a stabby claw for a hand. He was last playable in the 2011 Mortal Kombat, where he was also a DLC character. The other new character is Mileena, a series stand-by who’s been in most games since Mortal Kombat II, though died in the story of Mortal Kombat X. Obviously she got better. She has a pair of stabby knives, and a big mouth that lets her literally eat people. All three characters will be bundled together as part of the Kombat Pack 2, which will also be included in the newly announced Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition will be available on November 17th for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
