New Teaser Trailer From Amazon Studios Announces Upcoming Fallout TV Show
The announcement for a Fallout TV show appeared today in the form of a very bare-bones teaser video. Created in conjunction with Kilter Films, the studio is best known for producing HBO’s very popular Westworld. You can watch the video by clicking this link, or directly from the block below.
Appearing first on the Amazon Studios Twitter feed, this short but direct teaser trailer shows about what you would expect. We see the well known “PLEASE STAND BY” page flickering on a screen, with some fun upbeat 60’s tunes, before fading to black. Reflected in the screen are two bright circular lights, which I can only guess is glowing eyes of the Hellfire variation of Enclave power armor, as the T series armor has only one headlamp. Though this is pure speculation.
According to a press release by Bethesda, the idea of bringing Fallout to other forms of media has been a project for some time. As Todd Howard states;
“Over the last decade, we looked at many ways to bring Fallout to the screen… But it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago, that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right. We’re enormous fans of their work and couldn’t be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios.”
There is very little information about the Fallout TV show at the moment. For more information, you can read the full press release by clicking here.
