First Gameplay of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach Looks Creepy
At a Sony State of Play event today, we got the first gameplay of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, which looks rather fantastic.
The trailer gives a look at the massive amusement-park-styled restaurant that you’ll be navigating. With not one or two but several animatronics chasing you, you’ll have to take advantage of all the features of the store. Crawling through ball pits? Sliding down fun slides? Go-karts? All this and more will hopefully keep you alive. Thankfully Gregory, the child attempting to survive, isn’t totally alone. He’s joined by a security guard who’s hoping to keep him going as well.
It’s really interested to see Five Nights at Freddy’s expanded into a full first-person stealth game, especially after so many games where you just sit in a seat and play with cameras. That doesn’t mean there aren’t camera elements though. Gregory has a watch that lets him look through cameras placed around the restaurant, so hopefully, he can see threats before they come. Also, there appears to be someone in a bunny outfit sneaking around. Protecting themselves from the robots? It’s certainly a mystery.
While there’s still no release date, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 some time this year.
