Crysis Remastered Will Hit PC and Non-Switch Consoles Next Month
One of the age-old questions you always had to ask about any computer was “can it run Crysis?” It’s a valid question after all, Crysis was the prettiest game to ever destroy every computer ever know to man. It came as a bit of a surprise when, earlier this year, Crysis Remastered debuted on the Nintendo Switch. Now the rest of us can play it on September 18th.
Yes, this version of Crysis seeks to make the game even more lovely. The latest trailer even includes some comparisons shots so you can see just how pretty it gets. It turns out stuff like 8k textures and ray tracing game really make your game look that much better.
If you haven’t played the game yet, Crysis has a US Solider equipped with a super suit that increases his strength, speed, and lets him turn invisible. He’s deployed onto an island to do battle with North Korean soldiers, and more importantly so he can suplex tanks with his super strength. However, there’s more to the island than meets the eye, and soon an alien conspiracy is afoot. The game originally came out in 2007, and was later followed by an expansion and two sequels. This is the first new Crysis game since 2013.
If you want Crysis Remastered then you can grab it on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One when it launches on September 18th.
