Back 4 Blood Delayed Until October, Getting Open Beta
Today Turtle Rock Studio has announced that Back 4 Blood, the spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series, would be delayed until October 12th.
Originally shown off during The Game Awards 2020, Back 4 Blood was supposed to launch on June 18th. However, the developer chose to delay it to make the game “the best game it could possibly be at launch.” At the very least, you won’t have to wait until October to get your hands on it. Back 4 Blood will have an open beta sometime this summer. So once that’s up, make sure you get your hands on the game.
If you haven’t heard of the game before, Back 4 Blood may as well be called Left 4 Dead 3. The game sees four characters that need to run through levels, going from safe room to safe room, shooting tons of zombies along the way. Additionally, there’s special infected that will try to create various problems for you, usually on purpose. This includes things like making puddles of acid, or throwing up on you to attract regular zombies. If you’ve been looking for this style of game to play with your friends, this is the one for you.
If you’re still pumped for Back 4 Blood the game will be launching on October 12th for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S. You can add the game to your wishlist here.
