Welcome back for your daily dose of indie horror! Today we have Fishing Vacation by returning Dread XP favorite, Teebowah Games. Creator of The Third Shift and co-creator of PYLONS and Pit of Babel, this solo project follows their GameBoy gameplay style, and as of recently, is available for download on Android!
Fishing Vacation has you take the role of a man joining his enthusiastic cousin for a weekend of fishing at their uncle’s cabin. Undisturbed by the abandoned lodge and note that all but says “I am a weirdo and am going to scare you” note from said uncle, you and he go out to the pond and try to nab as many fish as possible. You’ve got three days out on the water before you encounter one of the four endings, so you’d better make it count!
