Welcome back for another Ultra-Indie Daily Dose! Today’s game is a return to one of our favorite DOOM modder devs, Scumhead. Previously featured for Vomitoreum and Shrine, this latest id Tech overhaul is a vampire themed metroidvania called. Lycanthorn II: Rain of Beasts.
In Lycanthorn II you play as a vampire hunter named Rain. Summoned back to your Hogwarts-y college after the nefarious vampire Nosferatu returns, you must take up arms to drive back the monster hordes. Axes, rifles, miniguns, and more are at your disposal in clearing the campus grounds of these beasts. There’s a tremendous amount of content here, much of which will probably kill you.
