Welcome back for another daily dose of indie horror! This title today comes courtesy of itch.io developer Possmonaut. As the name suggests, Subterene deep beneath the surface, placing you in the role of a mining machine operator. You see the game entirely through the drilling rig’s dashboard. At this far down, the only way to see is through sonar.
Subterene begins after an underground base goes dark. You’re hired to repair communications and figure out what happened. As you travel deeper into the depths, you make some significant scientific discoveries. You encounter all kinds of new and exciting species. Hopefully they will let you get out of the abyss alive.
