The Next Dark Pictures Anthology is Taking You to Hell
It feels like The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope just came out, mostly because it did. However, just like Little Hope was announced immediately after Man of Medan‘s release, the next entry to the series has been announced. That would be House of Ashes, and its going underground.
While the trailer doesn’t look to give too much away, House of Ashes appears to follow a few members of the military as they descend into a cave. One of the military notes that the others better believe in God, as they’re currently fighting a force he can’t describe. We get a few scenes of people shooting into the darkness, a mysterious statue in a lake of blood, and the narrator describing what the house of ashes is.
House of Ashes would be the third game in The Dark Pictures Anthology series. Recently, a special steelbook with four empty disc spots was sold with Little Hope, showing that developer Supermassive Game has at least four games planned for the series. There’s no current hints on what that fourth game will be, but it seems likely we’ll find out around the time House of Ashes launches.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will be available sometime in 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
