Red Solstice 2: Survivors Launches Terminator Class
Red Solstice 2: Survivors launched a new class for characters to master yesterday. The real-time, squad-based tactical RPG also released its roadmap, unveiling some of its upcoming DLC. This marks the first of two free class updates for Red Solstice 2: Survivors.
The sequel to the first Red Solstice features both single-player and co-op modes that require and reward careful planning. You’ll need to be fast, clever, and inventive to explore and survive the harsh environments of Mars.
The new class introduced yesterday is the Terminator, which offers tremendous offensive potential through its suit abilities. It charges over time or with kills, depending on their loadout. After accruiing sufficient charge, they can use it to amplify their damage with the Terminator’s unique skills. Though it will clearly take some time to get rolling, the class should prove to be a force of nature once it picks up steam.
In addition to the Terminator, there will be another class update in Q3 2021. This Hellfire Class update will soon be followed by “Howell-Barrex Inc.” Q4 this year will introduce playable Exoskeletons and the Engineer class. Next year, there will be three DLCs released throughout 2022. The “Condatis Group” DLC will introduce the Psychic class. “Insurgents” will include moddable weapons, and lastly the “M.E.R.C.S.” DLC will center around the use of vehicles. All of the DLCs will feature their own campaigns and unique tech trees. More about these upcoming DLC will be revealed as their planned release dates approach.
