Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo Releases Demo
Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo released a playable demo on Steam and itch.io yesterday. It will also launch a Kickstarter campaign sometime next month.
Kulebra is a kindhearted snake who wakes up on Limbo. Regrettably, he is quite dead, but that won’t stop him. Kulebra tries to find his purpose while sharing his goodness with the other denizens of Limbo in order to help them, too. While many might consider Limbo to be a dreary, purgatory-like environment, Kulebra’s world is colorful and vivacious, full of people with whom he can interact. Some are nice, and others less so, but the bony snake will do his best to make things better, no matter what. In fact, the bones of his body resemble slightly-squashed little hearts when you take a good look at him.
The demo for Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo is somewhere between 90 minutes and two hours, according to an estimate by developer Galla Games. The game includes a day-night cycle that changes the world around Kulebra, though Limbo’s curse resets the penitent denizens of Limbo back to the start each day. Be sure to check out the demo on Steam as well as itch.io.
Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo is the first game developed by Galla Games, a small indie team comprised of three people. The trio plan to launch a Kickstarter next month to obtain the funds to bring the game to a full release. The team has planned a full release for both PCs and the Nintendo Switch console. You can follow the company on Twitter to get the latest regarding Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo. The game will feature full support for both English and Spanish speaking players.
