GRAVEN Early Access Update Coming This Year
The GRAVEN Early Access update will be coming out by the end of the year. The adventure FPS, developed by Slipgate Ironworks, will add both online four-player co-op and a new level when they release the update within the next few weeks. One can pick up the Early Access version now via Steam, GOG, or the Epic Games Store. Versions for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch will be available in 2022.
As a priest of the Orthogonal order, you have been exiled for committing a crime to protect someone else. A boat carries you through a swamp, but a stranger helps you get to solid ground. They hand you a staff, a tome, and some odd instructions. Without any other real recourse, you set out to relieve the suffering of the people and destroy the blighted creatures that threaten reality.
GRAVEN blends modern game development sensibilities with visuals out of the late 90s. A first-person action puzzler, you’ll tear through foes and put that mind to use ferreting out the heretics responsible for blighting the locals with plagues and other evils. Spells, crystals, and weapons will let you bring people to justice and punish the wicked. There’ll be plenty of going back and forth as you revisit places with new, upgraded abilities. There are also several dozen enemies to blast through with spells, blades, and ballistics. Earn redemption and new life for your actions, but take care not to fall between the cracks of reality.
GRAVEN Early Access will last until Q1 2022, when it will release the full game. The full release will include new equipment, weapons, and enemies, new hubs, a gameplay mode, a console release, and full localization. Early Access updates will continue throughout 2021.
