Dying Light 2 Stay Human Revealing More at Gamescom
Dying Light 2 Stay Human, releasing in December, will show off a new trailer at this year’s Gamescom. Dying 2 Know – gamescom Edition, an episode of a webseries promoting the upcoming game, will debut on August 26 at 11:00 AM PT.
Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektala will host the episode. Supported by IGN and the Gamescom Studio, Smektala and other members of the development team will show off some of the parkour and combat. There will also be a new gameplay trailer as well as more as-of-yet unrevealed content.
Parkour was a major gameplay component of the the 2015 Dying Light, and it will be just as vital to your success in the sequel as its predecessor. Dying Light 2 Stay Human claims that it has an advanced, realistic movement system that will allow players to flow between graceful parkour and brutal combat.
The episode of Dying 2 Know will go into the challenges of parkour in gameplay. It will also reveal more information about the immersion and creativity within the combat system. Player character Aiden can not only defend himself with his arms and legs, but a variety of other tools to hold off the infected and ne’er-do-wells. Some of these will also make an appearance during the upcoming episode. Lastly, the episode will cover the factions system, where Aiden can decide who he helps (or harms) during his exploration and the effects of his actions on the game world.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human will release on December 7 of this year. Interested players can pre-order the game now from the game’s official website. It will be available on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC systems. Playstation 4 and Xbox One pre-orders can play Dying Light 2 Stay Human on both old and new-generation systems.
