Dying Light 2 Stay Human Comic Gets Animated Teaser
Techland and Dynamite Entertainment announced today a previously-unseen extended cut of Banshee: I Am The Cure. This comic book takes place before the story of Dying Light 2: Stay Human. A digital version of the comic is currently available for free. Readers can download it until July 15, with a physical copy printing at a later date.
Lead writer Mariusz Pitura tackled the story, and Adam Marklewicz provides illustrations to bring the world of Banshee: I Am The Cure to life and undeath. It will set the tone for the blighted world of Dying Light 2: Stay Human by depicting the moment that the Harran Virus ravaged the setting. Techland will launch Dying LIght 2: Stay Human on December 7. It will be available on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Interested prospective players can pre-order the game now via the game’s official website.
The game is a sequel to 2015 parkour game Dying Light, which recently began celebrating an Independence Day event. Players took control of mysterious operator Kyle Crane as he explored Harran by clambering up its bridges and sprinting along its rooftops. Crane grows fond of the survivors of Harran and joins them as a supply runner after they rescue him from a deadly trap. Though daytime excursions were relatively safe, the real tensions came when day turned to night and more dangerous creatures roamed the streets. It also received a considerable expansion in The Following which tied up several loose ends in Crane’s story.
Techland, founded in Poland in 1991, is a well-known developer and distributor for various modern consoles.
