Doki Doki Literature Club Plus Physical Edition Released

Developer Team Salvato and publisher Serenity Forge announced that horror visual novel classic Doki Doki Literature Club is in retail stores starting at $29.99. North American retailers are selling Doki Doki Literature Club Plus on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and 5. Check the official site to find a retailer near you.

This version of the hit visual novel will also feature some branded items. There’s a set of two-inch chipboard character standees for the four main characters, the full soundtrack with download code on a special floppy disk-shaped download card, 17 vinyl stickers, a Literature Club membership card, and a special poem from Monika. The version for the Nintendo Switch includes an inner cover sheet that takes inspiration from the game’s poem-writing mechanic. In Doki Doki Literature Club, the player takes control of a student who joins his school’s Literature Club thanks to the influence of childhood friend Sayori. They also meet Yuri, Natsuki, and Monika, the club president. They begin to write poems and bond with the other members, but things soon take a turn for the horrific.
