The Outlast Trials Closed Beta Dates Revealed
The Outlast Trials will be entering a closed beta in the near future. Red Barrels announced the new take on the Outlast series at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022. The Closed Beta will run from October 28, a Friday, until November 1, a Tuesday. A trailer accompanied the announcement to establish the sort of vibe you can expect in the closed beta.
Set at the height of the Cold War, the player takes control of a test subject abducted by the Murkoff Corporation. Imprisoned within one of their shadowy, dreary facilities, these test subjects will enter physical and mental challenges, tormented by iconic Outlast characters, and attempt to survive either alone or in teams.
“Last year, we debuted the first gameplay trailer for The Outlast Trials at Opening Night Live, and were overwhelmed by the positive reception. So it’s fantastic to be back again this year, and be able to provide a date for when test subjects… sorry, I mean fans, can enter the Closed Beta trials.”

The development team encourages interested players to sign up for the closed beta and stay tuned for news and updates regarding The Outlast Trials.
