Sker Ritual Dropping Steam Next Fest Demo
Wake up babe, new nightmare just dropped. Sker Ritual will appear as part of the Steam Next Fest event. This summer’s event, which showcases a number of upcoming games, will run from June 13 until June 20. Catch it overlapping with Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest. If you’re feeling spicy, you can check out last month’s reveal trailer. It will be available on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in Q1 2023.
The Sker Ritual demo will support 1-4 player co-op, allowing you to face off against the horrors of the Quiet Ones and the Elites. It’s first-person, round-based survival horror with the barest hint of safety from behind a mask. You’ll be able to pursue a few Story Objectives and check out The Laughing Policeman’s shop and Magnificent Munitions Upgrade Station. Customize your character’s mask before hopping into a solo, private, or quick play lobby. The demo will have a single map available for matchmaking. The team plans to have the game enter its beta before it launches its demo for Steam Early Access this summer.
While the alpha demo will have a 30-minute time limit per game, play it as many times as you like to get a feel for the game. Share feedback in the official Discord server to help the team make the best possible first-person steampunk horror shooter. Look forward to more weapons, events, and complex objectives when Sker Ritual enters Beta in a few months.
Sker RItual takes place in the same universe as Wales Interactive’s previous game, Maid of Sker. Check out Sam’s 2020 review right here on Dread XP. Other games by the company include several FMV games, including The Complex, Night Book, and Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus?
